President, Cannes Film Festival
Ms. Knobloch has served as the President of the Cannes Film Festival, an annual film festival, since July 2022. From June 2021 to July 2022, Ms. Knobloch was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairwoman of I2PO SA, a special purpose acquisition company that merged with Deezer SA. Before joining I2PO, Ms. Knobloch was a senior executive with WarnerMedia, an American multinational media and entertainment conglomerate, and its predecessor companies from January 1996 to June 2021 serving most recently as President of WarnerMedia in France, Germany, the Benelux, Austria and Switzerland. Previously, Ms. Knobloch was an attorney with the law firms of Norr, Stiefenhofer & Lutz and with O’Melveny & Myers in Munich, New York and Los Angeles from 1992 until 1996. Ms. Knobloch has served as Chairwoman of the board of directors at Deezer, a French music worldwide streaming service, since July 2022; Vice Chairman and Lead Independent Director of the board of directors of Accor SA, a French multinational hospitality company, since April 2013; and a member of the board of directors of Lazard, Inc., a financial advisory and asset management firm, since April 2018. She was a member of the board of directors of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE, a French multinational holding company and conglomerate specializing in luxury goods, from April 2019 to July 2021 and Central European Media Enterprises Ltd, a media and entertainment company that operates television channels in central Europe, from April 2014 to June 2018. Ms. Knobloch served as a member of the supervisory board of Axel Springer SE, a German multinational media company, from April 2018 to December 2019. Originally from Munich, Germany, Ms. Knobloch currently resides in Paris, France. She is trilingual in German, French, and English and a lawyer with a J.D. from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet and an L.L.M. from New York University. |
