Beaver Creek, Colo.-May 16, 2003-Family members can make their dads smile this June 15, 2003, with the gift of a two- or three-day golf clinic at Red Sky Golf Club, located 15 minutes west of Beaver Creek, Colo. Nationally renowned golf instructor Chuck Cook will operate Colorado's only year-round premier golf academy beginning this June at Red Sky Golf Club. The world-class instructional facility has been integrated into the design of the new Greg Norman course and the Tom Fazio course.

Chuck Cook was named by Golf Digest as one of the "Top Ten Greatest Teachers" in 2002 and one of the top 50 teachers of the 20th century. Known as the "teacher's teacher", Cook has taught four U.S. Open champions and several U.S. and British Amateur Champions. In 1996, PGA of America named him "Teacher of the Year".

The Chuck Cook Golf Academy debuts in June 2003 with programs that feature customized classroom and practice area instruction, including a 350-yard, double-ended practice facility and a short game area with three specialized greens. The programs include play on Colorado's first Greg Norman course, scheduled to open June 30, 2003, and the Tom Fazio course, which opened last summer and was named in the March 2003 issue of Golf Magazine as one of "The Top 10 Courses You Can Play".

This summer's series of two- and three-day clinics cover all phases of the game, including full swing, short game, on-course play and club fitting. State-of-the-art laser club fitting and measurement technology along with thorough individual and equipment evaluations are all used to improve one's golf game.

June: 6-8, 13-15, 20-22, 27-29

Aug: 1-3, 8-10, 22-24
Sept: 5-7, 12-14, 19-21

Price of a two-day academy clinic for a resort guest is $1195. Price of a three-day academy clinic for a resort guest is $1895. Price includes all phases of the game instruction including putting, short game, bunkers, pitching and full-swing; video instruction; take-home video; on-course play instruction on either the Tom Fazio course or Greg Norman course; daily lunch and refreshments and a complimentary gift bag.
